Does it cost anything to have Lyft Money source my vehicle?
No. There is no sourcing fee. Lyft Money is paid for arranging the finance, so the sourcing comes as part of the service. For consumer loans you receive a written credit quote before anything is submitted.
Can you source used and demo cars, or only new?
All three. New, dealer demos and quality used cars from our dealer network. For demos we show a new-versus-demo cost comparison so you can see what the saving really is.
How long does it take?
Popular models in stock take a few hours to a couple of days to price and lock in. Factory orders and rare specs take longer, and we tell you the expected wait before you commit.
Do I still have to visit a dealership?
Usually not. The negotiation, paperwork and delivery are handled for you. If you want a test drive or to see the car first, we arrange it.
I already have a quote. Can you beat it?
Send it through on the form. Our sourcing team goes back to the network with that figure as the target. Most of the time we beat it, and if we cannot we say so rather than waste your time.
Can you take my current car as a trade-in?
Yes. We get a valuation and an offer on your current vehicle. You can put it towards the new car or take the cash.
Is this for business buyers too?
Yes, and it is most of what we do: utes, vans, 4WDs and company cars for tradies and businesses, financed on a chattel mortgage or lease so the tax treatment works for you. Fleets of any size welcome.
How does the finance work alongside the sourcing?
Once the price is agreed your Lyft Money broker compares lenders across our panel and arranges the loan. Consumer buyers get a comparison rate and total repayable in writing. Business buyers choose between a chattel mortgage, lease or novated lease. Nothing goes to a lender without your go-ahead.
